GROUND AND BOAT TRANSFERS ARE INCLUDED IN THE PRICE ON SATURDAY ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES. THE LATEST INTERNATIONAL ARRIVAL WE CAN ACCOMMODATE IS 1:30 PM, AS THE BOAT DEPARTS PROMPTLY AT 3PM. THE EARLIEST DEPARTURE IS AT 12:30 PM, AS WE WILL HAVE YOU AT THE AIRPORT BY 10:30AM. PRIVATE CHARTERS CAN BE ARRANGED IF FLIGHT TIMES VARY FROM OUR CUTOFF TIMES. WE ARE THE ONLY RESORT ON THE ATOLL WITH PRIVATE AIR STRIP. PRICE VARIES BY PLANE SIZE. FLIGHTS ARE BOUND BY SUNSET, AS THE AIRSTRIP IS NOT LIGHTED.

• You may arrive and depart Blackbird Caye Resort any day of the week by hiring a private charter flight to and from Blackbird Caye Resort. It’s a 15 minute bird’s eye view of the reefs and prices can be quoted upon request.

Terms and Conditions

Deposits & Payments

• Standard deposit is $500 per person payable upon booking.
• Final payment is due at 60 days prior to the trip unless otherwise specified by promotional sales offers.
• We accept all major credit cards. A 3% processing fee will be applied.
• Bank wires are also accepted with no additional fee, made directly to Bank of America to the benefit of Blackbird Caye Resort US Inc.
• Request details for wiring when booking.

Cancellation Policy

• Refunds are not available for promotional packages. The dollar value of cancelled packages purchased under promotional rates may be used as credit towards a future booking within 12 months of the original check-in date, with no rebooking fee.
• Up to 90 days prior to arrival: Receive a full refund.
• 89-60 days prior to arrival: Forfeit deposits made OF $500 PER PERSON.
• 59-to travel date no refund. may rebook up to 12 months of travel date with a rebooking fee of $250 per person at time of new booking. NOTE: During peak season or during the DECEMBER HOLIDAYS, any cancellations under 60 days forfeit 50% of booking. 
• ALL CANCELLATIONS MUST BE IN WRITING! We strongly recommend that you take out a comprehensive travel insurance policy at the time of booking to protect you and all those accompanying you for the full time of your visit against illness, injury, death, loss or damage of baggage and personal items, cancellations, hurricanes, airline delays, and other travel contingencies.
• We will not accept responsibility for any delay(s), additional expense(s), or inconvenience which may be caused directly or indirectly by events outside our control which includes, but is not limited to; late arrival of flights, severe weather, acts of God, acts of government, or the failure of any machinery or equipment. Please ensure you understand the risks and responsibilities if you choose to not purchase travel insurance.
• Please be advised Blackbird Resort is a remote island with no paved roads or walkways. The island consists of all sand and is not accessible for guests who utilize mobility devices (IE: wheelchairs, scooters, etc.) Please advise us of any injuries or limitations that may prohibit participation in our island activities (IE: Diving, snorkeling, kayaking and paddle-boarding) so that our staff is properly prepared and able to accommodate any special requests in our limited capacity to do so in accordance with local and national laws. This information is crucial for the safety & enjoyment of our valued guests. Blackbird Resort is not responsible for any information withheld that prohibits us from preparing properly and providing us the opportunity to discuss expectations that may not be feasible to obtain due to the nature of our resort's remote location.
